macho man {leading lines}

Here's an example of leading lines. This photo is of my oldest son I. The original idea for this image was to capture the rails (lines) leading you into him.
We ended up capturing a bit more than we thought..He is very active in sports and has always held onto the number 8 for his uniforms. I loved that he had on this shirt for the photo, it really gave an average photo alot of meaning for us.
It also makes me think of when I was a teen...ready to take on anything! No worries, there was no train in site and he was just flexin' :)

Great picture! I really like how you made this classic picture your own. Very unique and obviously fits him.

Hey Kate!

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words! I am such a beginner at post processing so I toggle alot between Lightroom 2 and Photoshop CS4. I LOVE action recipes and use bits and peices of them lots. In this photo I used an action from CoffeeHouse called BW Moody. There's a link on my Nav Bar at the top. I also added some more black and sharpened it heavy. The framing is from Nicole Van. I adore her photography and actions!

Best,
Jess
