I don't know if I'm more jealous of your great photo or super shined floor...I'd be happy to have either :)

Oh, more BEAUTIFUL pictures! I love blacking out the background when there is strong sunlight coming through a room onto a subject. It just brings all of the focus where it should be. But what makes your photo so much more sophisticated is that the floor is also dark as well with a light reflection! LOVE IT!

I love both of them! The first one is stunning. I like the color of the floor against the baby. Your floors must be nice and clean to get that kind of reflection. :D

Absolutely wonderful creativity on the first image! And aren't you lucky to have great afternoon light on cool hardwood floors?! Did Daddy just finish washing and waxing that highly reflective car? As usual, beautiful work.

Both shots are beautiful, and my goodness do you ever have cleans floors and cars! :) I look at your blog quite a bit and as my first DSLR just arrived in the mail yesterday, I wanted to thank you specifically for starting to add your setting info below your normal posted pictures. I am just reading my manual and waiting for my SD card to arrive in the mail so to be honest I do not even fully understand what they all mean yet - but I know that soon I will find that info very helpful!
