the lost lens cap

The lost lens cap was started to document my photography journey. I'm married to my very best friend and kindest man in the world. We have five beautiful children that have joined our family biologically and through adoption. My photography passion started a little over a year ago and has become quite therapeutic for me. I have learned so much over the last year and photography, just like everything else, has it's peaks and valleys. I am just now getting comfortable with my 'photography voice'. I want my photography to be an art that expresses me, which is why you will see it change and evolve. I love all styles and appreciate all levels of skill. The greatest lesson I have learned, and this was just recently, is take pictures of what makes you happy. It is so easy to worry about what everybody else thinks and lose your course. When you find that 'happy place' your photography will flourish!

I currently shoot with a Canon 5D. I have a few lenses but I almost always use my 24-70mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.8 lenses. I post process in Lightroom 2 and Photoshop CS4.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and for following along!

Hugs.

Same camera, same lense - its a beauty isn't it - really interesting to see that someone that is getting such stunning results is using the same kit as me. Am also just starting out and have done lots of freebie sessions and some paid conference stuff and am about to try and get some more paid for portrait sessions.

OK, now you need to upgrade to the 50mm 1.4! I loved my 1.8 until I got the 1.4 and oh my. Heaven. :)
